Day 11 08-05-2014 Thu Truro

Not much to report for today, travelling from Torquay to Truro. Everything went well until Plymouth where we learned that the main road into Cornwall, the A28, was closed, no reason given. Detours were not signposted or even suggested.

Our intended waypoints were small seaside villages at Looe, Polperro and Fowey. We had a number of determined stabs at getting onto minor roads to our destinations, but we had not counted on the perversity of higgledy-piggledy English country lanes. We got there in the end, but the drizzly conditions prevented us from enjoying what were quite pretty places.
